The Seapeople

How can we ever understand?
When all we can see
Is the back of our hands
As we push for the land.

So in the shadows we glide
But we know that we can never, never hide
As we swim in the sea.
All we know is how to be believed.

Whatever we find
Looking back, to the memories in our mind.
So we'll dive once again
And we say hello to all our friends.

Your best poem, so far.
How about changing the ending into:

So we'll dive once again
And leave all our things on the shore.

/

So we'll dive once again
and all we got to lose
are our clothes on the seashore.

just a suggestion.
